RSA Conference 2020

The International Consortium of Minority Cybersecurity Professionals (ICMCP) has partnered with RSA Conference to award five (5) scholarships to deserving students and practitioners to attend RSA Conference 2020 in San Francisco February 24 - 28, 2020.  The awarded recipients will receive a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and introduction to a potential new or enhanced career path. The total in-kind value of this program is more than $20,000.  Also, for this year’s conference, RSA is also partially sponsoring an ICMCP Social Networking Event to be held on February 26, 2020 for 100+ ICMCP Members, friends and guests.

Now in its 29th year, the RSA Conference is the world’s leading information security event, each year welcoming the world’s top security professionals to share the latest and most compelling research and vulnerabilities. RSA inspires professionals at all career levels, encouraging growth and collaboration among academia, world-class researchers, and leaders in the public and private sectors.

The RSA Conference is an international conference series on IT security that takes place in the United States, Europe, Asia/Japan, and the United Arab Emirates. It also provides internet safety education for consumers and children, a security scholar program for IT security students, and operates award programs typically bestowed at conferences. For example, one award is the Innovation Sandbox contest, which involves ten startups that present their technology to a panel of judges.

"I am so excited to partner with RSA and truly honored they have offered passes to our organization. The RSA Conference is one of the largest and most impactful conferences in our industry. I am looking forward to seeing members of our ICMCP Family at the event. – Angela Davis Dogan, ICMCP President."
